This site collects nothing about you.
No form, no email list, no cookies and no tracking. Here is what that means, and the few things that do happen when you visit.
Six plain facts.
- 01
No forms.
There is nothing to fill in. To get in touch, you write from your own email.
- 02
No email list.
Nothing on this site signs you up for anything.
- 03
No cookies.
The site sets none.
- 04
No tracking.
No analytics, no advertising and no tracking code from any other company.
- 05
Downloads are plain files.
The kits and the skills download as ordinary files, with no email and nothing to sign up for first.
- 06
Nothing loads from other sites.
The fonts, pictures and code all come from this site itself.
What stays in your own browser.
A few choices are kept in your browser's own storage, on your device, so the pages remember them next time:
- in the Field Guide, the lessons you mark done and which assistant's tab you picked;
- on the home page, whether you turned motion off.
They are never sent to me or to anyone else. Clear my progress, on the Field Guide page, clears the Field Guide's. To clear them all, clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
If you email me.
An email to samson@neosaipien.com reaches my inbox like any other email: I see your address and what you wrote. Writing does not add you to any list.
Please leave out anything confidential in a first email. It needs no client names, figures or files.
The host, and links to other sites.
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, it handles the technical details a server needs to send you a page, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.
The lessons link to their sources' own pages. Once you follow a link to another site, that site's own privacy rules apply.
Who runs this site.
